Young driver test to start next week
Another two names have been added to next week’s young driver test at the Jerez circuit in Southern Spain with the new Mercedes grand Prix team, formerly known as brawn GP, confirmed that IRL’s British racer, Mike Conway and Marcus Ericsson, who contested the opening round of the GP2 Asia series with ART Grand Prix earlier this month after securing the Japanese F3 crown, will represent them at the session.
All teams, apart from McLaren, have revealed which young drivers will be present at Jerez who have contested under three grand prix in their careers to date. Ferrari will ahve the most drivers on hand with Jules Bianchi testing for the majority of the three day session while BMW, despite their pull out from the pinnacle of Motorsports, still intends to take part in the test with two young drivers on hand.
